Day 121

Day 121:

A lot of people work on Christmas day, a lot of people. I never really thought about it before, but think for a moment about all of the professions that are fundamental to making Christmas work, that require people to work on the day itself. Restaurant cooks and servers,  some TV presenters and operators, emergency workers, public transport operators, and more. I imagine they get much more money to work on these days, since they are providing a great service to people, but I wonder what they do about actual Christmas celebrations? Maybe on Boxing Day, or later on in the festive period? Either way, I hope everybody gets to enjoy a Merry Christmas today.
