Day 127:

It's a New Year,

with the same old problems?

Everything is changing,

but everything is staying the same?

We will never live this moment again,

but will we ever remember it?

Fireworks hover and light up the sky,

but fade to blackness as quickly as they arrived.

Pain and darkness are huge and can swarm,

but are always washed away by the light.

But when will the light come?

In the New Year?

In this new, breaking dawn?

Will the new dawn rise alone,

or will it pass over us when unaided?

Find resolve to search the darkness,

follow it without waiting.

Then watch as the dawn of the New Year rises up.
