Day 18
Day 18:
I love the sea when the waves are fierce,
Each wave is bigger than the last,
Then climb a foot in height and grow in strength,
Until the biggest wave has passed.
The water comes in three parts; shallow, deep and peaks:
The shallows rinse you with rocks and white foam,
The deep helps you ride the growing waves,
The peaks of the waves call the middle part home.
Just as a wave passes the deep,
The wave starts to curve, twist and crest,
And if you want to be challenged or tossed around,
You'd say this sweet spot if the best.
Always have somebody there to help,
In case things get out of hand,
Because if a really big wave peaks around you,
You'll be sent all the way back into the sand.
And rocks.
They are what cause the damage.
Ow.
