Day 116

Day 116:
An hour or so can last an age,
while days and weeks can just fly by.
Our age, our mood, the mountains we must climb,
all alter how we perceive time.
Childhood lasts forever,
longer than any other part of our lives.
Then, you are young, a young adult,
and those years just vanish.
As a child, I remember waiting,
wanting so desperately to grow up.
I'm not even old now,
but I feel it.
My back aches,
my youthful energy somewhat fading.
Sorry about that obsession with time,
I was waiting for an ebay auction to end.
That's when time goes the slowest,
then the fastest in the last 5 seconds.
Quite sharp changes.
